How to import your own scores in PDF format

You can import your own scanned PDF scores into your library. This is a convenient way to keep all of your digital sheet music in one place.

PDFs can be seamlessly imported with with popular cloud storage apps like, iCloud, Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, Dropbox, and more. Head to 'Library' and press the 'Import' button at the top of the screen:

At this point, any cloud storage apps that are installed on your device will appear in the pop-up, from where you can select which PDFs to import:

Alternatively, you can import scores via iTunes. Here's how to do it:

1. Connect your iPad to iTunes and click on the iPad icon in the top-left corner of iTunes window:

2. In the following window, select 'File Sharing' under the left menu, choose 'Sheet Music' under the list of apps and click the 'add' button:

3. Navigate to the PDF score that you want to import from your computer and click "Open". It is possible to select several PDFs at once:

4. The imported score(s) should appear in the right window. Click "Sync" button to sync the score(s) to your iPad:

5. Disconnect your iPad and open the Sheet Music Direct app. Go to Library and you'll find your score there. In this tutorial we've imported "Imagine":
